Tourism in Fethiye

Fethiye, which is the name of the ancient times, is an important district of Mula province in terms of tourism. Fethiye, which is the largest district in terms of both population and area, is becoming more crowded with the visitors it receives during the year. Although Fethiye has been the scene of major earthquakes in the history, it soon became a modern city. In 1913, the district was named after Fethiye. With its thousands of years of history, the region, which has traces of civilizations in the region, has visitors from all over the world. There are many works of Persians, Lycians, Carians and Romans in the region.

The most famous beaches of the district are the «al˝˛ and Karagˆz Beaches. Yoruk tent, which is located on Calis beach, attracts a lot of attention from the side of introducing the nomad culture. Being in an important position in terms of transportation is important in terms of the tourism capacity of the district. Located on the highways of Mula, Antalya and Burdur plays an important role in the transportation of the district.
